Hajj

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and an important religious duty for Muslims who are physically and financially able to perform it. It is a pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia and takes place every year during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. Millions of Muslims from around the world gather to worship Allah and demonstrate unity, equality, and devotion. During Hajj, pilgrims perform several sacred rituals, including wearing simple white garments called Ihram, circling the Kaaba, walking between Safa and Marwah, standing in prayer at Arafat, and symbolic stoning of the pillars representing rejection of evil. These acts follow the tradition of Prophet Ibrahim and his family. Hajj teaches patience, sacrifice, humility, and obedience to Allah. It is a deeply spiritual journey that allows Muslims to seek forgiveness, renew faith, and strengthen their connection with Islam.
